Þrumufleygur tekinn út í Víðidalnum í Apríl

John kom með Þrumufleyg í Víðidalinn í lok Apríl 2011. Fengum við loks að sjá gripinn almennilega en hann hefur verið í þjálfun hjá honum í Ármóti í vetur þar sem John er vinnur og stundar tamningar.
Illa hafði gengið að finna tíma til að koma í heimsókn austur og því var brugðið á það ráð að koma bara með klárinn í bæinn í helgarheimsókn.

Nafnið Þrumuflegur festist við hann þegar hann sýndi í gríð og erg SVAÐALEG tilþrif hlaupandi efitr móður sinni sem folald. Þá var ekki aftur snúið og Þrumufleygur var það. Aðrir eins skeiðsprettir og fótaburður hafa varla sést.
